Asclepias tuberosa (Butterfly Milkweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Apocynaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves and orange flowers. Flowers are visited by Broad-handed Leaf-cutter Bee, Sarcophaga sinuata, sweat bees, and Greater Fritillaries. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
