Datura stramonium (Jimsonweed) is a species of shrub in the family nightshades. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves and blue flowers. Flowers are visited by Texas Agapostemon, Eumorpha Hübner (1807), Phor, and Pemphredon inornata (Say 1824). Individuals can grow to 1 m.
