Ligustrum sinense is a species of shrub in the family Oleaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Laos, Vietnam, Eastern North America, and China. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Asterocampa celtis, Danaus plexippus, Apis mellifera, and Vanessa atalanta. Individuals can grow to 5.5 m.
