Ligustrum vulgare (European Privet) is a species of shrub in the family Oleaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to mediterranean region, Northern Africa, and Europe. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and fleshy fruit. Flowers are visited by Early bumblebee, Syrphus torvus, Banded Meliscaeva, and NO NAME!. Individuals can grow to 12 feet.
