Chionanthus virginicus (White Fringetree) is a species of tree in the family Oleaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Eastern North America and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by bees & apoid Wasps and Nomada maculata. Individuals can grow to 25 feet.
