Picramnia sellowii is a species of shrub in the family bitterbushes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mata Atlântica, Ceará, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso, Pernambuco, Amazônia, Pará, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Tocantins, Piauí, Maranhao, Santa Catarina, Rio De Janeiro, South America, Caatinga, Rio Grande Do Sul, Cerrado, GoiáS, Paraná, and Mato Grosso Do Sul. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 9.5 m.
