Baccharis salicifolia (Mule's Fat) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, North America, Amazônia, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Eastern North America, The Neotropics, and Acre (Brazil). They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by Augochlorella pomoniella, Xylocopa californica arizonensis, Silvery Blue, and Erynnis propertius. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
