Herbaceous plant. Tuber is 2-3.5 x 1.5-2 cm and ovoid. Leaves are 12-20 cm. Petiole is 8-12 cm. sub-terete and purple-spotted. Blade is 6-12 x 5-10 cm, ovate-cordate to sagittate, apiculate, scapes 12-20 cm, purple-spotted and spathe 6-8 cm which is cylindrical with whitish and purplish longitudinal stripes. tube of the spathe is as long as or slightly longer than the limb. Spadix is 5-7 cm slender, curved up-wards exserted from the tube of spathe. Pistillate flowers 3-7. Staminate flowers 25-40. Seeds are 2 to 6 and ovoid.
