Tragopogon porrifolius (Salsify) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have purple flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Andrena humilis, Lasioglossum cristula donatum, Halictus ligatus, and Andrena thoracica. Individuals can grow to 4.5 feet.
