Iris pseudacorus (Yellow Iris) is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Netherlands, Algeria, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Denmark, Latvia, Estonia, Norway, Yugoslavia, Belarus, Spain, Israel, Ireland, Poland, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Moldova, Sweden, Greece, Syria, Germany, Morocco, Turkey, Portugal, Belgium, Romania, Hungary, Russia, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Ukraine, France, Iran, Finland, Azerbaijan, and Palestine. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Lasioglossum occidens (Smith 1873), Viceroy, Vanessa braziliensis, and Xylocopa tabaniformis orpifex Smith 1874. Individuals can grow to 0.84 m.
