Iris pseudacorus (Yellow Flag, Yellow Iris) is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Turkey, Yugoslavia, Iran, Italy, Romania, Palestine, Algeria, Portugal, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Belgium, Bulgaria, Israel, Spain, Germany, Austria, Poland, Estonia, Switzerland, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Sweden, Greece, Finland, Latvia, Denmark, Morocco, Ireland, Hungary, Russia, France, Lithuania, Norway, Moldova, Czech Republic, Syria, and Belarus. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Lasioglossum occidens, Honey bee, Melanostoma scalare, and Nomad Bees. Individuals can grow to 0.84 m.
