Persicaria thunbergii (Sieb. & Zucc.) H. Gross

Persicaria thunbergii is a species of annual herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South America. They have simple leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Ceratina megastigmata, Lucilia, dagger flies and balloon flies, and flesh flies. Individuals can grow to 0.2 m.
