They are native to Paraná, Sergipe, Espirito Santo, Bahia, Santa Catarina, Pampa, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Rio Grande Do Sul, Cerrado, Pantanal, Mato Grosso, Mata AtlâNtica, Minas Gerais, Rio De Janeiro, SãO Paulo, Alagoas, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Argentina, Peru, and Brazil. They have simple, simple leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.2 m.
