Carapa macrocarpa (Crabwood) is a species of tree in the family Meliaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to AmazôNia, Pará, AmazôNia, Acre (Brazil), Maranhao, and Amapá. They have compound, compound leaves. Individuals can grow to 28 m. Reproduction is monoecious.
