Carapa macrocarpa (Crabwood) is a species of tree in the family Meliaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Maranhao, AmazôNia, Pará, Acre (Brazil), and Amapá. They have compound, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 28 m.
