Persicaria chinensis (Chinese Knotweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South America. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Aeromachus bandaishanus, Nonarthra chengi, Rapala nissa hirayamana, and Euploea core. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
