Persicaria chinensis (Chinese Knotweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South America. They have simple, broad leaves and achene. Flowers are visited by Nonarthra chengi, Ypthima multistriata, Stictomyia, and null. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
