Pittosporum tenuifolium (Tawhiwhi) is a species of tree in the family Pittosporaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to New Zealand. They have simple, broad leaves and berries. Flowers are visited by Vanessa gonerilla gonerilla, Honey bee, Tui, and small white. Individuals can grow to 4.5 m.
