Ipomoea indica (Blue Morning Glory) is a species of perennial herb in the family Convolvulaceae. It is a climber. It is native to Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Rio de Janeiro, Bahia, Ceará, Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso, Paraíba, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, Amapá, Santa Catarina, Amazônia, Rio Grande do Norte, São Paulo, Goiás, Distrito Federal, Amazônia, Alagoas, Paraná, Mata Atlântica, Sergipe, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Caatinga. Blue Morning Glory has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Tetralonia okinawae Friese 1909. Blue Morning Glory is a photoautotroph.
