Ipomoea indica (Blue Morning Glory) is a species of shrub in the family Convolvulaceae. They are climbers. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso, Alagoas, Amapá, Amazônia, Ceará, Rio De Janeiro, Pernambuco, Paraná, GoiáS, Caatinga, SãO Paulo, ParaíBa, Sergipe, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Brazil, Mata Atlântica, Cerrado, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, Espirito Santo, and Rio Grande Do Norte. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Dilemma Orchid Bee, Lon melane, Phocides pigmalion, and Chloridea virescens.
