They are native to The Contiguous United States, US Minor Outlying Islands, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Hawaii. Flowers are visited by Eurema hecabe, Barred Yellow, Honey bee, and White Peacock. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
