Miconia centrodesma is a species of shrub in the family melastomes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Espirito Santo, Amazônia, SãO Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Acre (Brazil), Roraima, Rio De Janeiro, Alagoas, and Bahia. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 5 m.
