Arctium lappa (Greater Burdock) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and achene. Flowers are visited by small white, Pieris dulcinea, Bicolored Agapostemon, and silver-washed fritillary. Individuals can grow to 1.3 m.
