Enneanectes pectoralis és una espècie de peix de la família dels tripterígids i de l'ordre dels perciformes.

Morfologia

• Els mascles poden assolir 4 cm de longitud total.^[4][5]

Hàbitat

És un peix marí, de clima subtropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 0-11 m de fondària.^[4][6]

Distribució geogràfica

Es troba a l'Atlàntic occidental central: des del sud-est de Florida (Estats Units), les Bahames i Yucatán (Mèxic) fins a Veneçuela.^{[7][4][8][9][10][11][12][13]}

Observacions

És inofensiu per als humans.^[4]

Enneanectes jordani, known commonly as the redbelly triplefin^[2] and the mimic triplefin,^[1] is a species of triplefin blenny from the northern Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico south as far as Venezuela.^[2] The specific name honours the American ichthyologist David Starr Jordan (1851-1931).^[3] Some authorities consider the synonym Enneanectes pectoralis to be a valid species.^[1]
