Platichthys flesus (Baltic Flounder) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family righteye flounders. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are solitary carnivores. Individuals can grow to 60 cm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is oviparous and iteroparous.
