Anguilla rostrata (American Eel) is a species of bony fishes in the family freshwater eels. It is listed as endangered by IUCN and as threatened by COSEWIC. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals can grow to 7330 g. American Eel has sexual reproduction.
