Pteropoda (Pteropods) is an order of Gastropoda. There are 379 species of Pteropods, in 62 genera and 15 families. This order has been around since the serravallian age. Dead Pteropods form deep marine sediments. Dead Pteropods form shallow marine sediments. They have sexual reproduction.
