Aquila chrysaetos (Linnaeus 1758)

Aquila chrysaetos is a species of birds in the family Accipitridae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Ethiopia, The Nearctic, the Palearctic, and United States. They visit flowers of Eriogonum fasciculatum. They are diurnal carnivores. They have parental care (female provides care, paternal care, and occasionally breeds cooperatively). They rely on flight to move around.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
