Bonasa umbellus (Pheasant) is a species of birds in the family Phasianidae. It is native to United States. It is a diurnal herbivore. Individuals are known to live for 11 years and can grow to 644 g. Reproduction is dioecious. Pheasant has parental care (only female provides care).
