Siluroidei is a suborder of ray-finned fishes. There are 2272 species of Siluroidei, in 327 genera and 32 families. This suborder has been around since the upper cretaceous epoch. It includes groups like Loach Catfishes, Banjo Catfishes, and Armorhead Catfishes. They are carnivores. They have sexual reproduction.
