Caesalpinia (Nicker) is a genus of tree in the family legumes. They are climbers. They are native to Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Hawaii, and The Contiguous United States. Flowers are visited by Protopolybia exigua, Protonectarina sylveirae, Brachygastra lecheguana, and Frieseomelitta silvestrii. Individuals can grow to 2.6 m.
