Centaurea (Knapweed) is a genus of herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and North America. They have achene. Flowers are visited by Great Spangled Fritillary, Southern Grizzled Skipper, Unarmed Leaf-cutter Bee, and Almond-eyed Ringlet. Individuals can grow to 12 cm.
