Liatris is a genus of herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to North America, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Bombus impatiens, Atrytone arogos arogos, Vanessa cardui, and Berry's Skipper. Individuals can grow to 3.9 m.
