Liatris (Blazing Star) is a genus of herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to North America, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Aaron's Skipper, Hesperia meskei straton, Little Metalmark, and Berry's Skipper. Individuals can grow to 3.9 m.
