Desmognathus welteri (Black Mountain Salamander) is a species of amphibians in the family lungless salamanders. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are found in The Nearctic. Individuals can grow to 170 mm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is dioecious.
