Rhinolophus ferrumequinum (Greater Horseshoe Bat) is a species of bats in the family horseshoe bats. It is found in the Indo-Malayan Realm and the Palearctic. It is an insectivore. Individuals are known to live for 360 months and can grow to 22.59 g. Reproduction is viviparous and dioecious. Greater Horseshoe Bat relies on flight to move around.
