Macaca mulatta (Rhesus Monkey) is a species of primates in the family Old World monkeys. It is listed in CITES Appendix II. It is native to Thailand, Pakistan, Nepal, Myanmar, Bhutan, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Afghanistan, India, Vietnam, and Laos. Macaque Rhésus is a diurnal folivore. Individuals are known to live for 432 months and can grow to 28 lb. Reproduction is dioecious.
