Choeronycteris mexicana is a species of bats in the family New World leaf-nosed bats. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are native to The Neotropics and The Nearctic. They visit flowers of Stenocereus stellatus, Agave macroacantha, Agave difformis, and Neobuxbaumia tetetzo. They are nocturnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 66 mm. They rely on flight to move around.
