Daubentonia madagascariensis (Aye Aye) is a species of primates in the family aye-ayes. They are listed as endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to Ethiopia. They are solitary, nocturnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 291.6 months and can grow to 400 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care).
