Physocarpus malvaceus (Mallow Ninebark) is a species of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America, United States, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, simple leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Eristalis hirta, Nomad Bees, digger bees, and Lasioglossum nigroviride. Individuals can grow to 15 feet.
