Pacarina puella is known from Arizona, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas (U.S.A.) and southward into Central America. This species has been found in association with mesquite (Prosopis spp.) as well as calling extensively from Acacia spp. (Sanborn & Phillips 2013).
