Hypophthalmichthys molitrix (Silver Carp) is a species of bony fishes in the family Xenocyprididae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Russia and China. Individuals can grow to 105 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
