Pokennips dentipes (Simon 1894)

Pokennips dentipes, unique représentant du genre Pokennips, est une espèce d'araignées aranéomorphes de la famille des Cyatholipidae^[1].

Distribution

Cette espèce est endémique du Cap-Occidental en Afrique du Sud^[2].

L'origine de la série-type censée provenir de Jamaïque^[3],[1] est une erreur pour Griswold^[2],[4]..

Description

Le mâle décrit par Griswold en 2001 mesure 2,42 mm et la femelle 2,36 mm^[2].

Het dier behoort tot het geslacht Pokennips. De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1894 door Eugène Simon.
