Commelina (Dayflower) is a genus of herb in the family Commelinaceae. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and The Contiguous United States. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, Ocyptamus fuscipennis, and Victoriana attenuata. Individuals can grow to 5.2 m.
