Parascaptor leucura (Assamese Mole) is a species of mammals in the family Talpidae. They are found in the indo-malayan realm and the palearctic. They are carnivores.

Definition: Because of the difference in refractive index between air and water (or corneal tissue), a curved cornea is an image-forming lens in its own right.
