Crocidura suaveolens (Lesser Shrew) is a species of mammals in the family shrews. They are native to Yugoslavia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Egypt, Czech Republic, Romania, Afghanistan, United Kingdom, Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Morocco, Bulgaria, Turkmenistan, Iraq, France, Jordan, Spain, Turkey, Croatia, Belarus, Georgia, Serbia, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Macedonia, Algeria, Liechtenstein, Greece, Portugal, Lebanon, Moldova, Slovenia, Uzbekistan, Israel, Switzerland, Cyprus, China, Hungary, Germany, Syria, Kazakhstan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Slovakia, Armenia, Italy, Montenegro, Russia, Albania, and Austria. They are solitary omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 32.4 months. Reproduction is dioecious.
