Xerus inauris (Cape Ground Squirrel) is a species of rodents in the family squirrels. They are native to Ethiopia. They are diurnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 156 months and can grow to 247 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care).
