They are native to Sergipe, Acre (Brazil), Mato Grosso, Amapá, Maranhao, RondôNia, Alagoas, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Distrito Federal, Cerrado, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pampa, Rio Grande Do Norte, ParaíBa, SãO Paulo, Santa Catarina, AmazôNia, Pará, Tocantins, Rio Grande Do Sul, Caatinga, GoiáS, Pernambuco, Paraná, AmazôNia, Espirito Santo, Roraima, Mata AtlâNtica, Ceará, Rio De Janeiro, Piauí, Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have broad leaves.
