Fagus grandifolia (American Beech) is a species of tree in the family Fagaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to United States, Canada, The Contiguous United States, North America, and Eastern North America. They have simple, simple leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 80 feet.
