They are native to Puerto Rico, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Canada, U.S. Virgin Islands, Hawaii, The Contiguous United States, Caatinga, AmazôNia, Pantanal, Mata AtlâNtica, Pampa, Cerrado, Mata AtlâNtica, Roraima, Pantanal, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Bahia, Caatinga, Pampa, Acre (Brazil), AmazôNia, Pará, Rio Grande Do Norte, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Tocantins, RondôNia, GoiáS, Mato Grosso, AmazôNia, ParaíBa, Piauí, Espirito Santo, Sergipe, Amapá, Pernambuco, SãO Paulo, Cerrado, Maranhao, Rio De Janeiro, Distrito Federal, Ceará, and Alagoas. They have simple, broad leaves and brown flowers. Individuals can grow to 0.61 m.
