Chloris barbata (Swollen Fingergrass) is a species of annual herb in the family true grasses. They are native to Cerrado, Sergipe, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, Ceará, Minas Gerais, U.S. Virgin Islands, Espirito Santo, GoiáS, Caatinga, Rio Grande Do Norte, ParaíBa, Alagoas, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pernambuco, and Puerto Rico.
