Cynodon dactylon (Bermuda Grass) is a species of perennial grass in the family True grasses. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Bermuda Grass is native to North America, eastern north america, Pampa, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso, Pampa, Mata Atlântica, Pantanal, São Paulo, Caatinga, Cerrado, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul, Pantanal, and Mato Grosso. It has simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Lipotriches clavata (Smith 1853). Bermuda Grass is a photoautotroph.
