Alopecurus aequalis (Orange Foxtail) is a species of perennial grass in the family True grasses. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to the contiguous United States, Canada, Greenland, Alaska, the contiguous United States, Greenland, Canada, Alaska, and North America. Orange Foxtail has simple, broad leaves and green flowers. It is a photoautotroph.
