Egeria densa (Brazilian Waterweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Hydrocharitaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to ParaíBa, Espirito Santo, Pampa, Mata AtlâNtica, Paraná, Ceará, Bahia, Alagoas, SãO Paulo, Sergipe, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Sul, Caatinga, Pernambuco, Cerrado, Santa Catarina, Rio De Janeiro, North America, Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.6 m.
