Posidonia oceanica (Mediterranean Tapeweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Posidoniaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Mediterranean Tapeweed has simple, broad leaves. Mediterranean Tapeweed form sea grass beds. It is a photoautotroph.
